The only way you can get that is with A LOT of saved linens!<br /><br />I don't know if you've ever seen "carpet bags" made from this type of weaving. Carpet bags are large enough that you can you them to hold your possessions when you are staying over somewhere a few days. <br /><br />The handles are made from leather or webbing. How this is done is to create a long oval of your chosen material. Smoothly lay this on a flat surface and then lay your woven bag rectangle across it. After stitching down the part of the handles that touch the rug, then the sides are closed. It's fun to add some fabric tassles on the handles and a place to put your business card.<br /><br />Obviously, you could do this on a smaller scale and make a handbag.<br /><br />Once I was in a thrift shop looking at the XS tops, which I don't fit. I found a brand new Alabama Chanin top. I bought it just so I could look at it in detail at my leisure.
